Message From Vickie

Temple Care wishes you and your family a blessed New Year. There were many challenges in 2020 , but by the grace of God we got through it, learning new ways of living. I just finished reading the book of Judges. The theme that is stated many times in the Book is: “In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in their own eyes.” Every time I read that verse, I cringed with conviction. This is where we get ourselves into trouble; we do what we think instead of looking for God’s wisdom. In the book of James 3:16-17, it tells us the difference between worldly wisdom and God’s wisdom. Let’s compare:

God’s Wisdom: pure, peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering and without hypocrisy.
Worldly Wisdom: jealousy, selfish, disorder, bitter, every evil thing

So, as we journey through 2021, let’s look for God’s wisdom and not our own. We are God’s wisdom and not our own. We are God’s chose people with the Holy Spirit’s power to do what is right in His eyes. We know that there is a spiritual battle every single second of our day, so be aware and on guard to fight those battles. These is victory in Jesus!

Love,
Vickie
